Terms & Conditions*
*please read. You are agreeing to abide by the following policies when you book with Mobile Dog Training. You are acknowledging that you read and agree to these terms within the intake form.
Payments:
-
A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to reserve a consultation spot. Because Mobile Dog Training books in advance and often has a waiting list, we offer all spots on a first-come, first-serve basis.
-
Problem Behavior consultations require consultation payment of $200 (single consult) or $450 (4 session program) in full to book. Problem behavior consults are for severe cases which require behavior modification.
-
Deposits are accepted via Venmo, Cash App or Zelle. Mobile Dog Training does not accept other forms of payment for deposits.
-
The balance in-full is due and payable during the consultation, in-full, via Cash, Check, Venmo, Cash App or Zelle.
-
Returned checks are subject to a $35 NSF fee.
-
Mobile Dog Training does not offer refunds so please consider your commitment to training your dog before you choose to book.
Rescheduling, No-Shows & Cancellations:
-
Requests to cancel, postpone, or reschedule must be made via email or text (NO phone calls/voicemails) with at least 48 hour notice. Two requests to reschedule in a row results in forfeiture of that session. I am as lenient as I can be but please respect that this is a business and my time is valuable and limited.
-
Requests to cancel, postpone, or reschedule within 24 hours of next session will result in forfeiture of that session with no refund. Last minute requests wreck my schedule and the spots cannot be filled but most importantly, they negatively affect your success with your dog.
-
No-shows (10 minute grace period) result in forfeiture of that session. Two no-shows in a row results in termination.
-
Cancellations due to bad weather is not subject to penalty.
-
Rescheduling is at sole discretion of trainer.
Photos & Videos:
-
Photos and videos may be taken of pet/s and owners during training sessions. Mobile Dog Training & Jessica Hudson reserves the right to use these photos and videos for marketing, promotional, educational, instructional, purposes on any platform and/or in print. Photos and videos may be taken of anyone present, including children unless expressly requested otherwise. Mobile Dog Training takes client privacy very seriously and respects all requests in regards to photos and videos.
-
Photos and videos provided by the client via text, social media platforms, emails, etc are subject to use by Mobile Dog Training and Jessica Hudson as described above unless expressly requested otherwise.
Training Methods & Equipment:
-
Mobile Dog Training does not employ or condone the use of aversive or punitive methods or equipment such as electronic/shock collars and devices, prong/pinch collars, choke chains, invisible fencing systems, bark collars, citronella sprays or any other physical or emotional punishment or corrections. I will help you learn to teach and manage your dog without them. On-going use of these tools or methods during our training program is grounds for termination. I will not judge you, however these tools and methods have been proven to be damaging and risk behavior fallout.
Communication with Trainer:
-
Mobile Dog Training and Jessica Hudson offers a unique, customized dog training experience. I love to offer on-going and between-session support! I encourage clients to ask me questions, send me video and photos, and share struggles and successes with me. Clients are welcome to text or message me within the hours of 9 am and 9 pm.
-
Email is the preferred method of communication especially in regards to scheduling requests or questions requiring in-depth responses.
-
Due to the nature of the business, I rarely answer phone calls and my phone is often silenced (calls interrupt video-taking, training sessions, etc). Voicemails basically are never checked. Text. Email. Smoke signals. All more likely to be answered. :)
-
If you absolutely need to speak to me over the phone, as it is sometimes more efficient, please text me and I will call when I am available.
Liability:
-
Mobile Dog Training makes every effort to keep pets, people, and property safe during all interactions. Dog's owner is responsible for their dog's actions, damages, and losses resulting. Client assumes all liability and risk and agrees Mobile Dog Training and Jessica Hudson should not be held responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs, or expenses.
-
Bite histories MUST be disclosed prior to initial consultation. Mobile Dog Training reserves the right to terminate training at any time if client's dog is deemed dangerous, unpredictable, has history of aggression and biting without prior disclosure, or if the dog is a danger to people or other dogs.
Training Program Policies:
-
All training programs expire three (3) months from date of the initial consultation. No refunds will be issued for expired/unused sessions beyond the expiration date.
-
Training success is dependent on client compliance with instruction. Trainer reserves the right to terminate training agreement for non-compliance with no refund.
-
Initial training consults usually run about 1.5 to 2 hours. Subsequent sessions generally run 30-45 minutes.
-
Consults and sessions must be distraction-free. Please silence/quiet phones, turn off the tv, have other pets put away, etc so we can focus on your training within the allotted time.
-
Well-behaved children are welcome to be present for training and may even be involved. Please make other arrangements or have another adult present to tend to babies and younger children.
-
Instructions will be emailed prior to our consult. Please read and follow them and be prepared to get the most out of your training session.
-
Other pets and dogs who are not happy with visitors must be properly secured in a crate for my safety.
-
It is YOUR responsibility to manage your dog during training sessions.
-
Mobile Dog Training does not and cannot make guarantees for dogs' behavior when not in my care. I cannot make guarantees for future behavior.
Problem Behavior Policies:
-
Initial behavior consults usually run about 2-3 hours. Subsequent sessions generally run 30-45 minutes.
-
Serious behavior cases can be simple or complex. Sometimes they require involvement and consultation with your veterinarian or board certified Veterinary Behaviorist. If a case is beyond my expertise or there are circumstances preventing me from committing to your behavior modification journey, I will provide referrals to qualified professionals.

-
One in-home follow-up session of 30-45 minutes will be scheduled to review what your dog has learned during their stay. This session expires one-month after pick-up. If you are not within my service area, we can arrange a session at another location.
-
Your dog should be freshly groomed (within 5 days) of drop-off. Nails should be trimmed and filed or dremeled for their structural well-being, comfort, and to prevent damage to our floors and furniture.
-
Owner is to provide adequate amounts of training treats, food, and chews to prevent stomach upset. If not enough is provided, you may be asked to bring more or reimburse me for what I provide.

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to book a Board & Train spot. The balance of the program is payable in two parts; half at drop-off and the remaining balance at pick-up. There will be a $35 NSF fee for returned checks.

-
Once in my care, you authorize veterinary care in the event of an emergency and assume responsibility for associate costs.
-
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to book boarding dates. The balance is due prior to or at drop-off.
